NEW READER?

Hi there :) I'm Edie, and I started this blog way back in December 2013 ( although I didn't really use it until April 2014! ) as a way of sharing my thoughts with all you lovely people. I never expected it to get 1, 000 page views, let alone 80, 000. This may seem like a small number to you but to me it means everything! 

On this page I'll share a little of this blog's 'story', some of my favourite posts and other bits and bobs ♥

Sit down, grab a cup of tea, and start reading!

I write on this blog because I love it, and you all seem to love it, too! I've made some amazing friends through this, and I've become very close to them all. I've had the opportunity to work with some incredible brands, such as W7 cosmetics, Punky Pins and Dream Eyes.

I feel like I'm bragging a bit.. But it really does make my day when anyone leaves a comment, or sends an email saying they love my blog. Even at school, if one of my friends say they liked my new post!

I'll stop aimlessly rambling now and tell you what to expect from The Life of Edie.

I usually post every 4-7 days. I try to keep it at 5 but sometimes it's not possible! I'll post depending on the season, my mood, what I love at that time, or if a few people have asked me to do a certain post!

I write about beauty, diy's, food, products I'm loving and things on my wishlist! I also write about things in other categories, such as outfits, what I'm loving, and life!

I love writing and taking pictures for outfit posts. This one with Kew Gardens as the setting is one of my favourites!

Here's another one I like... ( just ignore my face in the second photo.. ). I could go on all day about my outfit posts, but I'll move on to the beauty and diy!

Feeling down? I have the perfect post for you - 'The Perfect Pick-Me-Ups' is something I'm proud of, and is definitely up there in my top 5 favourite posts!

In December, I will have finished my 3rd year of blogging! I know it's boring to say that time's flown by and all that, but it has. It's been amazing, exciting and all the other good words you can think of :)
